Cancellations due to meningitis

Good morning my peeps!

As most of you know by now, I cancelled some applications in the past couple of days due to the fact that they're still missing their meningitis paperwork. If you have someone calling wanting to reactivate here's what you need to tell them:

1. They need to submit their meningitis paperwork before their application can be reactivated.
2. Once the health center receives their paperwork and approves it, they'll receive an email letting them know they are now able to continue their application.
3. They can complete their application then, and make their deposit payment.
4. We cannot process their deposit before their meningitis paperwork has been approved.
5. We cannot reactivate their application until their meningitis paperwork has been approved.
6. If they did not print off the form before their application was cancelled, contact a coordinator so that they can reactivate their application so that they can print off the form.

Another thing about meningitis:
We are unable to mail or fax a paper copy of the meningitis form. If they did not print the form out or cannot access the form, advice them to just contact the health and wellness center about what to do.

If they are not able to access the form due to a technical problem with the website, they'll need to send us an email so that we can fix it!

Refund Requests

Hey!

Debra would like everyone to know...

In regards to the influx of refund requests we are about to receive (particularly for the $75 damage deposit), the housing coordinators would like us to put these at the payment window.

DO NOT put them in the housing coordinators' boxes because they will divvy them up later.

Commuter Exemption Forms

Hey everyone!!

Please make sure that when people send in their commuter exemption forms by fax they are still mailing us the original copy. Debra needs the original copy to see that the notarization is for real!

Housing Website Down

Hey Guys,

So here is the down low on the Housing Website... It is down.

Explication:

The website is changing servers and its IP address. It takes some time for the IP address to change for everybody (students) so the website is currently down for most everybody who doesn't work in our office.
This is why it seems to work when we log on. Therefore please do not have students send emails requesting IT help. Just tell them there is server maintenance going on and the website will be back up as soon as possible.

Kerr Availability

In short, Kerr is full. Boys and Girls spaces are gone, done, full. In order to try and seem like we are helping them see if their student has a specific major, and see if they could stay in a REAL community within Kerr.

Refund of Online Payments

Hey All,

If we get an email asking for a refund of an online overpayment, that refund request should be sent to Debra. She now has the ability to refund them online. First, check the statement to make sure the student made the payment online. Then, send all online refund reqests to Debra. Any Questions, Ask Her!

Reactivation of Application

There was a voicemail this morning from a Jasmine, she is a high school studnet and wanted her application reactivated. However, she wanted us to call her back after 4pm.

Fax Copies

Hey team, I just wanted to to let you guys know that when faxing Commuter Exemptions and/or Meningitis Immunization Forms, there are fax copies already located in the work room. All you need to do is look where you get the fax cover letter and you will find them there. You will not need to get a regular copy that is two sided because the fax copies are two pages already. If you have questions please ask. Thanks you guys!

Meningitis in the mail

Good morning my beautiful peeps!

When you get meningitis paperwork either in the regular mail or through intercampus mail, please take it to the health center if we have someone available in the office to run it to the health center. Please remember that welcome desk will be the first option and then someone in the HA window. This paperwork does not need to wait for me, because I'll just send someone to take it over. Questions? She says it should arrive today and that she'll be here for a tour Friday, so if we can just hold onto the form until then she'll sign it. Stay real, ABS forever yo.
